For those interested in exploring Korean language and culture, we offer a specialized Korean immersion track, providing students with the opportunity to learn Korean and deepen their understanding of Korean culture within an immersive school environment."

Korean Immersion Track
한국어 특별반

한국어 특별반 학생들은
영어, 수학 심화학습 (ELA, and math enrichment) 와
병행하여 한국어를 매일 배우게 됩니다. 
학생들은 한국어 수준에 맞추어 배치되며  
즉시 사용할 수 있는 회화와 표현을 배울 수 있는
실용성을 강조한 수업입니다. 
 
한국어 101: 기초한국어 반으로 한국말을 잘 못하거나 아직 한글을 읽지 못하는 학생들을 위한 반으로 기본 인사말, 한글 알파벳, 간단한 어휘등을
한국 노래 (Kpop)및 놀이를 통해 배우는 과정입니다.
한국어 201: 한국말로 대화가 가능하거나 한국어를 읽을 수 있는 학생들을 위한 과정으로서 문법 구조, 어휘, 듣기와 말하기, 문장 구성, 
동사활용, 한국 문화 공부를 한국 노래 (Kpop)및 놀이를 통해
배움게 될 것입니다.


Students are arranged into different proficiency levels
Korean 101: For students with no or little prior knowledge on Korean. Students will learn Korean through songs, plays, and other fun activities. Basic greetings, Korean alphabet, simple vocabulary, and grammars will be taught as well.  
Korean 201: For students who are able to make simple conversations and are able to read. Students will learn Korean through songs, plays, and other fun activities. Grammar structures, vocabulary, listening and speaking, sentence formation, verb conjugation, and cultural aspects of Korean society will be taught.

Optional field trips are available every Friday, offering a wonderful opportunity for students
to build friendships, and to engage practical learning experiences.
